World War 2 Museum

Duration: 2-3h

Price: 400zł

This walk is perfect for those who want to learn more about the history of the Second World War!

Our adventure with discovering the history will begin in front of the Polish Post Office building in Gdansk, where it was famously defended against the Germans in September 1939. We will feel the atmosphere of the Free City of Gdansk between the World Wars.

Afterwards we will head to the Museum of the Second World War. Opened in 2017, this is one of the best WWII museums in the world, fitting for the city where the war began.  The museum is filled with mesmerizing remnants of the WWII era and the destruction and devastation that resulted.  We will go through the years of war, changing time and places. We will see the war not only through the eyes of dictators but also through the eyes of the resilient citizens of villages and towns throughout Poland and Europe.
